directions give the area big-sky panoramic views. A world-class
home like this desires such a spectacular location.
The Main House
Once your gaze shifts from the awe-inspiring vistas, to the home itself,
the unique artistic nature of the home becomes apparent. This view
shows the west side of the house looking towards the Rio Grande Gorge
and distant mountains to the south east. The main front door
rests at the corner of the home shown here.
After entering through a heavy custom modern door, and a mudroom, you
come to the spacious media room / living room combination. The
projection system shown in the picture above complete with the automated
descending screen come with the home. This room features bright
windows on both the west and south sides and a large fire place.
The floor contains beautiful tile designs
Looking towards the south side of the house you see the large planters.
A half bath sits in the room ahead with the glass blocks providing it
with light.
Continuing on through the house you come to the kitchen and dining area.
The bright kitchen features lots of counter space and views to the south
when working at the kitchen sink. On the other side of the far
counter sits a recessed nook with its own fireplace.
The dining area sits next to the kitchen complete with space for
storage. A skylight illuminates the back wall and provides
ventilation.
Continuing through the house you come to a bar with a waterfall and fish
pond. The pond runs automatically on its own pump and solar panels
so you hear the sound of falling water whenever the sun is shining.
The fish pond could also function as a 3,000 gallon cistern, with
another 3,000 gallons outside providing 6,000 gallons total of water
storage. Behind this area are the electrical control systems,
power storage, and mechanical areas.
The bright and sunny bathroom features the decorative sink that you see
in the picture above. A large tub and shower sit to the right.

room has windows to the south and east providing wonderul views and lots
of light. It also features its own fireplace for cozy nights and
lots of storage in a large walkin closet with a built in dresser.

For a wide open view, climb the steps to the left to a rooftop deck with
views extending to the nearby gorge, the lights of Taos, and the
mountains beyond.
The Guest House
The soaring ceilings and innovative design make the guest house
noteworthy on its own.
You enter the house through the great room. In this view, the
lower level features the kitchen and sitting areas with a central
wood-burning stove and planters filled with banana plants.
Decorative flagstone floors absorb the sunlight and release the heat
back into the room for heat in the winter, but stay cool in the summer
when the higher sun angle keeps them in the shade. The upper level
features a sleeping loft in this great room, and the bathroom in the
corner beyond it.
